The Challenge

Build unquestionable trust for OMSNIC through a website design; moreover, strategize a solution for a Policyholder-facing and Agent-facing portal.

The Solution

Leverage the current brand-colors with a balance of contemporary style and simplicity. Focus on Information Architecture to organize the larger amount of content successfully for ease of naviagation.

The Outcome

A fresh, not sterile, website design with a focus to drive the user to apply to become a policyholder. Two separate portals each tailored and structured based off of the two types of users’ needs.

The Website

The website’s Information Architecture was based off of the needs of the two types of users (Policyholders / Policyholder Staff, and Non-insured individuals) with a heavier focus on converting the non-insured individuals. Educating the end user on who OMSNIC is while gently guiding them to the register page was the cornerstone of our strategy.

Website Key Focus

As always, conversion is the ultimate end goal for OMSNIC. In this case, educating the user was the catalyst for gaining the user's trust in order to do so.

01.

OMSNIC must provide supporting data in a memorable way to instill trust in the brand. We will provide clear and concise content organization that supports the structure of OMSNIC as an insurance carrier.

02.

Provide content and areas for Policyholders (OMS), Policy Holder Staff, and Non-Insureds / the public looking to learn more about OMSNIC. Easily direct users towards a simple registration process.

03.

Clearly highlight what sets OMSNIC apart from the competition (OMS Exclusivity). OMSNIC’s portal functionality provides usable access to all malpractice insurance account information and supporting collateral / functionality.

The Agent Portal

For the agent portal we used a loose, Lean UX approach due to the limited time we had to launch. The Agent will be handling the Policyholders coverage, any plan updates, new users, loss run / credentialing, and payments. Some key features here include: Policyholder search or Entity search functionality quickly locates policyholders or practicing locations. Review Policyholders information including payment balance, invoices, policy documents, and Practice locations. Review applications of potential Policy Holders. Delete, submit comments, or initiate applications with potential policyholders.

The Policyholder Portal

The Policyholders will be checking the status of their pending applications, managing their staff status, reading Informed Consent & Documents, and can stay up-to-date on upcoming seminars and consent documents.
